In the year 2002 there has been added a new application – a pivoted window – to the system offer of Metalplast-Bielsko S.A. This construction is based on MB-60 window-door system and possesses a trade name – MB-60 PIVOT. The presented window Mb-60 PIVOT is a part of the window-door system with MB-60 thermal barrier. It is a modern construction intended for windows requiring thermal and acoustic insulation with horizontal or vertical rotating axis. The thermal insulation for this solution classifies it into the RMG 2.1. group. These types of windows are intended to be built in brick structure openings or can be mounted into a mullion/transom façade.

Particular attention should be given to a dimension range of the pivoted window casements: a window with horizontal rotating axis can be from 800 to 2000 mm high and from 500 to 2400 mm wide. The maximum weight is 180 kg.

The hinges ensure the window rotation angle of 0 to 180 degree. They may be optionally equipped in opening blocks of the window casement, with the angle openings of 10, 15 or 22 degrees.

MB-60 PIVOT received the Technical Approval AT-15-3105/2003 from January 2003.
